Echocardiography Core Lab
ClinNext’s echocardiography core lab plays a key role in providing an evaluation of echocardiographic measurements for both domestic and international multicenter clinical trials, including the examination of heart, structural and valvular morphology, and function in a variety of therapies. Modern imaging modalities such as 2-D and 3-D echocardiography obtained using transthoracic (TTE) or transesophageal (TEE) techniques are among the state-of-the-art imaging modalities to get helpful information regarding the size and shape of the heart (internal chamber size quantification), pumping capacity (ejection fraction), location and extent of any myocardial damage, and assessment of valves. ClinNext’s echocardiography core lab presents methods for diagnosis of aortic stenosis, anatomical case selection, procedural guidance, and management of complications. We at ClinNext provide our echocardiographic imaging services in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) guidelines. ClinNext’s experience with real-time 3D echocardiography is especially advantageous in the evaluation of:
Cardiac Structure and Function
- 3D LV size (dimensions, areas, and volumes)
- 3D LVEF
- 3D & M-mode assessment of LV mass
- 3D LV regional wall motion
- 3D assessment of left atrial size, function
Physiologic and Hemodynamic Assessment
- Doppler comprehensive hemodynamic assessments
- Quantification of mitral regurgitation
- Quantification of aortic regurgitation
- Quantification of pulmonary regurgitation
- Quantification of tricuspid regurgitation
- 2D stress echocardiography & contractile reserve
- Tissue Doppler quantitative myocardial function
- 3D LV volumes & EF
- 3D RV volumes & EF
- 3D aortic and mitral regurgitation
